Holidays on a budget because as a family of 6 everyday is on a budget 😉. Here are some tips that can make the holidays a little easier on your wallet.

Gifts on a budget

Gifting shouldn’t be stressful and doesn’t have to deplete your bank account. A good way to avoid blowing your budget on gifts is to avoid last minute purchases. Start planning now and get your orders in!

Personalized Gifts

Personalization Mall is one of my favorites. This time of year they always have deals going on, plus there are plenty of inexpensive options too. Personalized gifts can be a low budget way to give very thoughtful gifts. See some of my top picks ⬇⬇ click on the images to start shopping now

Gift Certificate for a skill you have.

As a massage therapist this one is easy for me, massages are always a welcome gift 😆 Do you have a skill people pay for, or hire you for? This could be a great gift that wouldn’t cost you a nickle.

Babysitting

This is a great gift for all parents, new and seasoned alike. Babysitting can be hard to come by. And, I know for me, sometimes I feel bad asking for babysitting just for a simple night out. Or some parents simply can’t afford it. But do you have any idea how wonderful (and beneficial!) a night out can be for a parent?! Seriously, if you have some parents on your gift list consider babysitting as a gift. I promise you they will be very grateful!!

DIY Gifts

DIY gifts can be very budget friendly. This year, coasters are my DIY gift of choice. I got a pack of 24 ceramic tiles from Amazon for $26.99, there’s a link below to the exact ones I use. To see some others I’ve done in the past check my post DIY Holiday gifts I’ve actually made

Thrift Store/Estate sales

Don’t be afraid to shop thrift stores and estate sales for gifts. You can find one of a kind items like an old, ornate frame and then print up a photo to put in it. You never know what kind of treasures you’ll find at places like these.

Make a special dish or treat.

Chocolate covered pretzels are super easy and people love them! To read more about how I do my chocolate covered pretzels check my other post here. You can pick anything, cookies, peppermint bark or any dish that may be your specialty. Got a banging soup recipe that you make, jar that up and gift it! Going back to my last “holidays on a budget” idea, you could find a pretty serving dish/platter at Thrift store or Estate Sale for a little extra cheer.

Take advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals

It seems all the big stores are fighting over more deals, longer sales, and better discounts.

Amazon is having an extended Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale going on from Nov 17 thru Nov 27
