The best hooded towels this mom has ever found

If you have little ones or have one on the way I’m sure you have looked at your fair share of hooded towels. They are so nice to wrap that little baby with. So warm and cozy.  And babies just look so absolutely precious in them! Just look at those little babies!!

So, there are 2 reasons I am writing about hooded towels today.  1) as always, I am here to share when I find a good product that I have used for my babies. And I have been using this NY Giants towel for over 6 years and it is still in amazing shape! And 2) it happens to be a family member who makes them! There’s a link at the end to her shop on etsy!

Sure, that may make me a little biased but a towel that holds up this well after 6 years of use between 4 children is worth sharing either way!

Super preggo Meggo at my baby shower in 2012. This very towel is still in use today!

She made this towel for our daughter, our first born. It was a gift for my baby shower, way back in 2012.  There I am, about to be a first time mom, having no clue what was in store for me. But I’ll save my “new mom” experience for another post.

We have used this towel countless times between all of our children. It has held up it’s quality way better than I ever expected!

I have found there are basically 2 groups of hooded towels. The cheap $12-$16 range that will last a few washes. I promise you, I have tried them! Don’t waste your money. And then there is the $40-$60 range, which are great quality but pricey. And most of these are found online so you’re most likely adding shipping on top of that.

These towels are priced at $24.99. Not too pricey but not cheap crap either.  And she can customize it to whatever you want. Any sports team, character or color.  Check her shop on etsy, if you don’t see what you’re looking for just ask. There’s a good chance she can custom make whatever it is you want. And you can take my word on the quality. There are not many things that make it through our house (and by house, I mean kids!).

These towels also make a fabulous gift! Friends of ours have a daughter turning 2 in a few weeks and I just placed an order for a towel to give as a gift! I’ll post an update when I receive it!
